After pulling an all-nighter, I belligerently challenged Ed Morrissey to a debate on the relative merits of Real Star Trek vs. the sacrileges that followed it. From Hot Air:

Tommy notes with some justification that we seem to reverse political roles when it comes to Trek. All I can say is that we didn’t see Tommy get this exercised during his three days of immersion in the conservative environment, so perhaps we’re beginning to discover his inner Right-think.

All I have to say to that is, “When Mugati fly, Ed, when Mugati fly!”

We also discussed economic policy and racial stereotyping in science fiction. Here’s the video:
